Harriet Macdonald

Harriet’s inspiration stemmed from a youth of letting her imagination run wild as she explored the bushland and beaches of her homeland in Tasmania.  At 21, she left her tiny island to start life in London, where she began directing fashion films and had the honour of working side-by-side with several renowned childhood heroes, such as Sir Ian McKellen.Alongside her commercial work, her short films and music videos were well-received at worldwide awards festivals, such as Cannes, and selected for Vimeo Staff Picks numerous times. No matter the project, Harriet devotes her passion to discovering its heart and soul, encouraging a stronger connection with her audience through her craft, whether by triggering a smile or a curious thought. Over the years, she has worked with various prestigious clients, including Adidas, Nokia, Rimmel, Pantene, Shell, Hotels.com, Eurostar and Heathrow, to name a few.
