Garth Lee is an animation director, designer and drummer. He started animating when he was just 12, using his Grandad’s VHS video camera to do plasticine stop-motion! Since, his equipment and techniques may have changed over the years but the passion for crafting and exploring animation style has just got stronger and bolder.
His personal animation projects have really created a stir. His music video for his band BRO has racked up several awards and nominations such as UKMVA, BMVA, Gong and Radar. His short film “Life Without Stuff” about a world where seemingly mundane objects mysteriously vanish without warning, earned two Vimeo stamps, 'Staff Pick' as well as 'Vimeo Pick of the Week’. Garth folio includes big brands such as Twinings, Rimmel, BBC, Renault and 7Up.
Besides the day job, Garth and his wife have a popular online comic series “Incontinent Prawnfish”.
