Hello! See below just a few of our case studies where we have paired a fiercely talented illustrator or artist like Erin with an animation director specialising in the same animation style to bring illustrations to life in a moving form! This is the some collaborative set up we have tried and tested on many adventures with Xbox, AKQA, Apple and more.... so we propose it to bring this project to life too. Why disregard a style we all love when we can have endless fun in developing something truly bespoke for the brand in a way that has not been done before time and time again!
As you will see below we can really take any illustration style and breathe life into it via animation! Bringing different talent together and using our skill sets to elevate creative concepts makes creative exploration fun, innovate and exciting again.
Bonjela- brief was simple, POS art work for a new product. The brand fell in love with the expressive character that we were asked to create a 20 sec story about a emotionally distressed and uncomfortable baby, before the treatment and then a happy and relaxed baby after. We took the illustrations designs we had and gave them a different sort of life form through wonderful character animation below.
Gears Ink- we were initial coming up with a re-brand hero art illustration only, a contemporary look & feel for one of worlds leading Xbox games and the brand loved it so much they asked us to bring the illustration to life. So, we paired Bill up with Peter S who breathes CGI animation and did it! It lives on at events, on-line and more.
Cannes Lions- again, we had an graffiti artist & illustrator work on this character for posters and mural when the Cannes Lions board decided to actually open the festival itself with this BUT as a film for a metaphorical 'breaking the glass ceiling'.... So we did what we do best- collaborate and bring the team together to bring to life a powerful festival opener.
Mindful -Initially digital posters for mental heath charity and then client decided they wanted these to go to cinema and move for more impact and be more expressive. Our artist who normally only works on canvass and paper did exactly that for all the key frames we needed, and we then took those, placed them into their digital form and animated everything in-between to bring to life this multi award winning cinema commercial.
