Welcome to NERD! We love your charming, warm, sprinkled with hint of humour creative concept and as it happens we have the right NERD for the job. He is a Cannes Lion winner too. Hylton strongly believes that playful and fun creative concepts that also feel human and natural are the best way to communicate and capture global audiences of today. That way we directly relate to them through engaging films on a positive emotional level. Hylton is a safe pair of hands on set, who is a joy to see in action as he gets the best out of talent, crew and time on each and every shoot! With is flexible and proactive approach he is a joy and dream Director to be around and work with on tight turnaround, smaller budgets and projects that require out of the box thinking!
Below are just a few examples that showcase his casting, performance and lifestyle led work and also importantly those that capture warm interaction moments between people with light humour. I think we need a sprinkle of each of those elements to bring to life a set of films that we can all be proud of.
Never wanting to be pigeonholed into a specific style, Hylton has built up a diverse range of directing abilities but favours shooting performance and storytelling. He loves toying with human interaction and exploring relationships as well as adding humour into the mix to tell his stories. Having had such wide shoot folio means that he can comfortably shoot anything from yummy foods to real people, children and family moments, even action packed car spots, stunts and celebrates and even animals .
